It takes 2 to trade. The seller & the buyer. Our counterparts buy our goods because they either need or want them. They are now cheaper since the devaluation of the £, so even more desirable. You are presenting a severely flawed argument. Their difficulty wil be in selling goods to is, for the very same reason. So it's the EU that have the problem, not the UK.
Just found this. For once, FIFA have got something right ... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37832115
Id read that earlier and agree. Too many nationalities now playing in the pl with varying religions, backgrounds etc. Not possible anymore to make one rule to fit all
Who in their right mind in this country would need enforcement before wearing one. They must be ****s.....
The clubs are imposing it. Personally, I rebel against all sorts of things imposed on me. I was brought up to expect someone to ask permission, rather than impose their will. If the club did not ask me, but expected me to wear it without request or consultation, bloody right I wouldn't wear it. As I mentioned earlier, these clubs are the only employers in this country with this requirement. The requirement is in fact illegal to impose.
Ok to gain agreement. Dont impose it but anyone excercising their free will and not wearing one should be fired.
It should be written into players contract initially stating they will have to wear them. Player then has choice to sign contract or not. Club also covered
I am a great supporter of the poppy appeal as well as numerous other military charities. Something about the argument that players have to wear poppies doesn't sit right though. Part of what we remember is the men and women who have served and died to give us all the freedom we all deserve. Part of that freedom is the right to decide whether to wear a poppy or not. While I do not agree with those who choose not to wear them I will not begrudge them their right to that choice.
Not to be confused with Harold Wilkinson who won us the title . Antenucci, bang average for me, this is the Italian 2nd division remember. My favourite memory of him? When he left
If you go to work and have to wear a uniform you wear the fooker or dont work. If you refuse to wear the uniform you are withdrawing your labour effictively going on strike. The shirts have a poppy motif within the teams colors and all the team expected to wear it. If a player of whatever nationality cannot respect the traditions of the country he is. Aguest in then hes a coont and should be fooked off
Doc, whilst I fully understand your view, I have to disagree with the sentiment. Those great fallen men and women fought for the right for us to make free decisions, including this. Had they lost to the fascists then we would be told what we can and can't do. Though I disagree with his stance, I accept his right to it.
Anyway back to the football, early I know, but do you think we can take advantage of Norwich's uncertainty (if reports about Alex Neil are true)
wolfie, watch the film Wolfie, you need to watch a file called 'Brassed Off'. I still have tears in my eyes when I think of it. Stellar cast with a very important message for youngsters like yourself.
