Inter have sacked manager Frank de Boer.

He can come here if he likes. :emoticon-0112-wonde

You would swap Phelans exciting brand of attacking football in favour of someone who's just been to a team with better resources in an inferior league and failed?

He had no chance, Mancini stitched him up. The rumours were there all summer that Mancini would be sacked so through sheer spite he just didnt bother doing pre season training. Literally. Numerous players have complained that they were in no shape to play football come the start of the season - see the pre-season drubbing by Spurs - so when De Boer came in with 1 week to go before the season he then had to start on fitness work rather than anything else and they've been playing catch-up ever since.

So all in all, in true Inter style, I think he'll go on to be a success elsewhere when given a proper chance.

Inter are themselves taking the unusual step of appointing someone clearly identified as an interim - Stefano Pioli - with all their eggs in the 'tempting Simeone at the end of the season' basket. You'd think they'd have no chance usually but he's an Inter fan and an idol of the Ultras.

That sounds like the club stitched him up rather than Mancini. If they wanted to sack him, sack him. Certainly the second he tells the players not to come in for pre-season training you'd send him on his way.

Fair point, sacking him did drag on for ages. Mancini didnt tell them not to come in for training to be fair, they just didnt do anything whilst touring - hotel, players left to their own devices, pre-season game, repeat. either way, De Boer really isnt to blame and will do well elsewhere I'm sure.

For what it's worth, they were ****ing awful when we played them at the San Siro a couple of weeks ago.

For the money they've spent they should be doing much better than what they are. 12th in Serie A? So poor...

We were linked to him in the Summer and I'm much happier with Puel.

    Bullet dodged for me.

Not disputing any of it, for the reasons I stated above.

You played them at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza by the way
