Do you think my friend flying down from Manchester is dizzy yet? That's just his plane's trail, not the other planes in the pic. Vin
Good luck - hopefully this one'll land before the fuel runs out.* I've never seen anything like it. though it's also true to say that I've never looked for this kind of thing before: EDIT: If they run out they'll definitely land, of course.
Are you planning a trip to the Farmhouse before the game (assuming you're not still circling over Southampton)? Vin
Aw Dave, I told you not to kiss me on Saturday. It might be because you sat next to Vin in the pub and he is very unhealthy. Well his shirt looked a little off colour anyway. Hope you're better soon!
Still unsure if I'll be at the pub. My daughter and her hubbie are coming down and they're talking about getting something to eat beforehand with a friend of theirs, so I may not have time to get the pub It's just as well we lost on Sunday or I'd be worried I might break my fine run of going to the pub and not seeing them lose this season ......
Thanks, Fats. I agree, it was clearly Vin's shirt what done it. Got a VERY large single malt inside me just before bed and it seems to have helped. Staying in today and keeping warm .......
I know we're probably all a bit "charitied-out" (we've all given to Frannie's fund - some more than other, eh, Vin? ) and now it's Poppy Day ..... However, I have, for 7 years now, attempted to grow something akin to a hairy caterpillar on my top lip in aid of "Movember" - raising funds and awareness of Men's health issues. It's a subject very close to me and it would be brilliant if anyone on here would be willing to give just the smallest amount. My page is http://mobro.co/davecg69 or you can send a cheque to 'Movember' referencing my registration ID (2522814) and mail it to: Movember Europe, PO Box 485, Wilstead, Bedford, MK45 3XN. Many thanks, peeps!!
I must say, as a catholic atheist I can see where you are coming from. I was born and indoctrinated (put that in bold as a school with monks and nuns and mass on the curriculum is indoctrination) a Catholic, but over the last few years i have gone to slightly agnostic to full blown Atheist. I say I am a Catholic Atheist as I think culturally I am Catholic, religiously I am an Atheist. BUT, I went to the Vatican back in '82 and I remember the aura around the place. I think if I went today, maybe I may swing back towards a religion. See, you can see the Italian in me coming out. Always changing sides
