Fully agree with you, radio commentary does not lie, Noel Whelans comments in the YP do not lie, but c'mon pal we are learning to scrap and get results, last season we would of drawn or probably lost that one in injury time. MOT comes to mind
Someone remind me, whose your manager? Whose your owner? how long have you been in the championship? What you played in the CL for a year once and you guys think your a big club? your sizeable for this league, but that's about it, half decent stadium, its all you got.
Manager is Gary Monk Owner is Cellino Been in Championship for 10 + seasons What you played in??????............think this is Geordie come Jack Rattie English. Tell you what Loon_Man_Sam you start saving your dole up and invest in some education
Apologies. What, you played in the champions league once and you think your a big club. when you are losing an argument it is quite easy to attack someone's grammar. You are a bunch of nibblers though, I come over here with a one liner and you all go mental. Talking to me about dole money! LOLS Leeds level of unemployment is probably higher than Essex when I live or London where I work, classic bunch of fannies you lot
Thanks for the rapid response Loon, thought all the docks in London were shut down see Chirpy I am learning, this was with one cast, thx bud its good fun isn't it
Lol good one mate, proper good that is. Have a look at this http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....ites-set-for-bumper-newcastle-crowd-1-8210034 When the big clubs come to town, the Yorkshire lad's put down their pints of gravy and turn up to eland road. Looks like the international stars of Newcastle are drawing a big crowd! Biggest game you guys are gonna have for another 5 years
How are the proper big clubs around you doing, Sunderland and Boro? OOps sore point, I forgot, theyre all PL arent they
Depends what criteria is used to determine what makes a big club: Newcastle bigger stadium, higher home attendances Leeds more post war trophies won, more European campaigns, larger worldwide fan base, bigger away following Compared to the likes of Bournemouth, Hull, Swansea etc both clubs seriously underperforming
Seriously though, all jokes aside, as a neutral where would you rather be? Sunderland's position at the foot of the PL table, David Moyes in charge and small handful of decent players who will probably leave when they are relegated or Newcastle, Top of the league, overwhelming favourites to go up, spending money and still making profit with Rafa Benitez in charge? I'd appreciate it if you answered honestly, but yeah was gutted when we went down and they stayed up, but now, I'm not too fussed the championship isn't that bad, it's more honest, more English, kinda like the top leagues 20 years ago. Football doesn't start and finish with the premier league some fans and media outlets tend to forget that.
I already said we would of drawn or lost this game last year. So you are picking an argument because I agree with you? How does that work?
I see what you did there, and you don't even realise it. Subconscious fear of failure again. We remember that 20 years ago you were 12 points ahead in the premier league just after Xmas, then you bottled it & lost the league. Worried it's going to happen again?
Worried, not about the league, its already won, Hull City away in the league cup concerns me, then who we draw after in the semis, that concerns me. All I want is promotion and a trip to Wembley, is that too much to ask? I never had the chance to go to the FA cup finals back in 1998 and 1999 and I've been waiting ever since. One of the only clubs to have not played at the new Wembley, farcical. This year though, this year!
What should be of most concern to you is the fact you haven't been English champions since 1927 even Sunderland have won it more recently than that
He just wants to get back to the prem, never win it and be everyones whipping boys week after week again. Should have taken the hint when Shearer took em down last time.
