It was only the most ****tarded Labour strongholds that voted Leave though. Liverpool didn't, but Hull, Sunderland and Barnsley did.

The common denominator that separates them is genuine multi cultural societies. The 'blame the immigrants' message was shunned by Labour voters with half a ****ing brain

Kustard liking his posts was hilarious though. It confirmed that the ****tard doesn't bother to read posts, he just sees a name and avatar and hits "like". He's the dumbest of dumb ****s.

    Food news
The good: Foreign eggs are now more expensive than British eggs so large cake/biscuit factories are switching to British suppliers.
    The bad:
Peanut harvest has been poor and pushed up prices by 46% worldwide. UK importers will be paying 65-70% more over coming months.

Quite possibly the only half decent thing ever to come out of Manchester.

Edit; forgot about the Happy Mondays for a minute there.

Were they actually Mancs though? Thought they were more your generic Northern Bastids from grim villages with dark satanic mills?

Factory Records was a Manchester thing though I suppose.

How can you not rate Ian Brown? Even if you don't like his music, surely you've got to admire the character? He's a singing, philosophysing monkey!

You can't beat London though. Bowie, Pistols, Clash. Love it.

All of that was before my time but I did meet this fella many years ago...I was a student working in a shop and it stuck with me as he was a ****ing nut job who I had to explain the concept of debt to...plus his girlfriend was beautiful but was bordering on taking heroin chic too far...

He's quite a funny ****er, I'll give you that. So is Mani.

Not really a Stone Roses fan though, tbh. And anyway, I do not post on football forums in praise of Mancunians, sorry mate.

Is that Jimmy Pursey? Much shrewder than most people gave him credit for. He certainly knew how to make headlines and get publicity for his band.

He played Southampton Top Rank one night in the late 70s/early 80s. Between numbers, he asked "anyone here from Pompey?" Knowing his audience, it was inevitable it would kick off, and it did. Next day it was all over the national press.
