I've just been watching The Daily Politics from a week or two ago and they were discussing how Boris Johnson can speak five foreign languages (Latin, French, German, Italian and Spanish). He won a scholarship to Oxford University. It amazes me that some of the leftists here act like he's an idiot yet the only language they can speak is insult. They can't seem to string a coherent argument together without getting sidetracked by resorting to abuse.

Abuse covers a whole myriad of things and is often subjective, and so as I said earlier, you'll have to be more specific if you want a sensible answer.

But as a generalisation, any abuse that is racial, homophobic, based on religious grounds or disability is wrong.

Better educated does not equal greater intelligence. He should practice his English though. Most of what he says comes out as gibberish. I have not heard him speak Latin, French, Italian or Spanish so I can't tell if it makes sense or not and my German is not good enough to know if it's rubbish

Johnson's ancestry's very mixed and he's lived in several different countries.
His parents pushed education on their children heavily from a young age and he loved languages, apparently.
That has no influence on his reputation for being a lazy, dishonest dickhead, though. He's renowned for it.
