You be careful if you're going anywhere near Kinder Scout ..... it's always boggy and there's plenty of ankle breaking patches of ground for the unwary or clumsy of foot. You do realise it's nothing like a Kinder Egg, mate?
I wouldnt even pay 50 million. I cant believe for one minute anyone would pay that. Just look at Villas sale.
Neither can I but, the cachet of owning a PL side costs you a premium - downside to that though, should we become stranded at the bottom that premium payment will no longer apply.
Its only for people that can afford to lose £200/£300 million and it not be to big a blow. Bit like us losing £100 i suppose
Yes took it a few years back, to be fair the peak district national park has done a lot of work up there, but as has been said not a place to go unprepared, was up there a few weeks back and the weather took a turn for the worst and in the space of 10 minutes it went from a lovely day to absolutely pissing it down and a howling gale , you need the right gear or its easy to get caught out.
True story. In my old job I was elected Union rep & employee representative for consultation issues at site, UK & European levels. It was a good process that encouraged open discussion with Senior Management. At my first meeting the site Director asked if we could ask people to not put adverts up, selling & giving away items,on the notice boards but to use the intranet selling site instead. Someone suggested that this was a little over the top as it had been done for years without issue. There had been a complaint. Somebody had put up an advert try to re-home a dog. The part "Needs regular walks" had been altered in a very similar way. Everyone in the meeting was outraged, except me. I just sat in silence hoping nobody recognised my writing. I was only 38ish at the time.
Apparently they are queing at the door to buy us, I think 4-5 different consortiums. We are deliberating weather they are genuine or just a figment of someone's imagination and part of Allams game
