The lad takes a lot of stick - he played well yesterday. There were bigger problems than Moreno yesterday. The positive is that this is the sort of game we would have bottled normally - missing chances, making stupid mistakes. We put the game to bed. We need to work on becoming more clinical though.
Na...brendy did what he could. .I was reluctant to let him go (I know, in the minority) but top teams can't afford a downward trend to continue to long these days...it's a shame but then we got Klopp because of it. I mean look at you lot...went bad..new manager...went bad...new manager...went ....it's ok...I hear cyborgs are only a few years away...Fergie in a robot body and you'll be back!
If only the search function worked I remember many, many posts in Brendan's first two years that are carbon copy's of the Klopp post's of the last 12 months
Na...it went..."why the **** have we signed him as manager!" for a year...then it went "**** this is crazy but we like it!" for a year...then it went "see it was all because of Suarez. .brendy is a fraud!" for his last stint. Add "he talks dogshite"... throughout... You call it "mind games" down your way...we just called it talking out your arse....
If he had thrown the odd "cool" in and grinned while shrugging his shoulders would he still have a job there? One manager......We press high up the field and try to win the ball back in 7 seconds, we play with a fast, fluid attack that tracks back. Next new manager (completely different, innovative style)..........We have a fast fluid attack and press high up the field, everyone is expected to track back. Notice the fantastic difference? No 7 second time limit (and I wrote it the other way round) I miss that search function
Under Moyes: "Our football is boring and ineffective. We haven't bought any new players but let's blame Moyes, who won us a trophy." Under Mourinho: "Our football is even more boring and ineffective. We bought £150m of new players but let's not blame Mourinho, who's won nothing."
Didn't realise you were one of us, now your constant wumming on this board makes sense (I have never managed to make the scousers look quite as clueless (~) as you do but keep trying) You are wrong about Maureen though, he has won quite a bit
Thought you were talking about your managers for a moment and wondered what drug you were on lol... Annnd...no. you go up to second..then down to 8th after getting 3 years and your "own" team...no shrugging or cool will help you. Same will go with Klopp . ..after 3 years, his "own" team and he ends up 8th...fairly sure he'd go too. Style is bull ****..a manager has preferences ..are there similarities . ..yes. are there some differences . ..certainly...personally I think Klopp's works better in the PL..he likes a very physically fit team..strong guys if not always physically big. he likes technique but sees it as a basic requirement for positive play rather than the basis of football. he also doesn't think posession is the be all of a game . ..heard him be the first to say it's pointless without actually scoring goals...brendan thought it was the way to win a game all on its own. In fact, the only similarity they both have is a favour that attack will win win points more than defence. But that's like saying an in prime Mourinho and Allderdyce are the same....of course this year the results are the same....
