That wouldn't particularly bother me. I'm saying bring him off the bench on Thursday and then start him at the weekend because I see the league as the most important competition. Europa League and FA Cup I'd put out a good team and the League Cup team should include as many kids as possible. What Puel is doing basically. Wouldn't really object to starting him against Inter though, or even in both games - I don't think Morocco have a game in the international break so he'll get a couple of weeks off after next weekend.

At the start of the season I was unsure on Chelsea winning the league because of the Centre backs being old or a bit ropey, but Conte has come up with a system that protects them. Yes we could have played with a bit more imagination or passed at a higher tempo, but the organization and effort was superb. I don't recall seeing Costa work that hard here last season. Kante was awesome and I'm not going to be surprised to see him win back to back titles on this evidence. Another great performance from Romeu
We should've invested in a quality RB in the summer IMO, but Pied might've been that man, had he not been injured.

Beaten by a better team on the day, no disgrace in that, what happened to the Northam, it was like a library, the Itchen made more noise in the 2nd half. I noticed Redmond got a nasty kick on the ankle early doors and didn't contribute much. Tadic annoyingly kept waiting for the ball to come to him rather than attacking it. Jordy seemed a bit off the pace, Davis was a curates egg, good at times, woeful as well. Bertie understandably a bit rusty, a lot of hard work from Charlie, unlucky with that off side call, the lino was a bit behind and was guessing but probably right, no complaints about Virgil and Jose, they did their bit, Fraser made some good stops, the first came through players legs and went through his! Apart from Martinas odd attempt to block Costa had a reasonable game. Romeu was my man of the match
I've noticed, ad nauseam. Since the game started Beefy criticised Steve Davis 10 times, Tom 5 times, MLsfc 3 times, I was at the game and he didn't seem to do that badly, but obviously he had a terrible game and I must have missed most of the bad bits.
