Not me, but I think this formation gives him and Davis nothing to do. I can't remember thinking anyone playing those positions has had a great game.

 

Well more then Davis has been doing anyways. People are far too harsh on Clasie.

I am not seeing in any link-up play going forwards, tackles, nor breaking up play, he seems to wander into spaces where he cannot get the ball and drift into space in front of the back four and the ball seems to be passed around him. It's like we are playing with 10.5 players (the 0.5 is me being kind).

 

This is why I wish I could have gone to the match. Already on Sky they are talking about Redmond and Van Dijk leaving.

I actually think he's nota bad player - but not seeing him do anything in this half and I find myself watching now the whole time (except when I am typing of course!)

 

Davis scares me everytime he is near the ball in our pen area.

 

It's all they have to chat about. Finding a commentator with an original thought is very difficult.

I get he isn't having the best of games, but neither is Davis. What I am getting at is if you single out Clasie then Davis has to join him. Specially for how he messed up for their goal.

 

Tom - they could give us 20 and we still would struggle to make something of them!
