They don't have to spend their money, just as they haven't during their entire tenure. However, if this clubs gets relegated, or looks like its going to get relegated then its value drops immensely. So if a sale isn't imminent then its in their best interests to invest in the squad to maintain the clubs market value. If they did this through loans, as they have done for years, they would recoup the money when the sale went through anyway.
When? "I will walk away in twenty four hour, everybody who knows me will tell you, I am a man of my word". Maybe it's the language barrier and he meant twenty four year.
These games are free hits. We need to pull back the racket and swing. Eventually we'll get to easier games. In the Championship.
They've agreed to sell it to two different parties already, then hiked the price and screwed both deals, they could have already walked with a tidy profit, but decided to **** people about instead. Either they agree a deal to sell a Premier League club before Christmas, or we're lumbered with them and the debt goes up another £20m next season.
I've not been either now for a couple of seasons ish. The lads I used to go with have now found something else to do with their time and money on a Saturday too... Its got to the point where I dont miss it anymore. Its very easy, in any business, to lose your customers, and very difficult to win them back.
Well TWT, but I just feel Mbokani can hold the ball up well and can be the foil for Hernandez, who needs someone to get the knock downs etc to feed off. Keane seemed to do OK yesterday though, and it was a good flick on for Hernandez through on goal attempt, so that is another possible option along with Dio.
Phelan is struggling a bit, but he does have a bit of hindrance. Quite a damning comment from you: how about supporting it with a bit of supporting fact?
Struggling a bit? Bit of a hindrance? He's completely out of his depth. The team lacks any cohesion. The setups wrong. The tactics are baffling. He makes the wrong decision, too late in the game, so on the off chance it was the right one, it could have a positive impact. Supporting fact? Oh. I guess the last 9 league games isn't enough for you? How long will you give it before you admit he's no good? Christmas? May?
I never wanted him, but we've got him; it was inevitable due to the ****wittery of the owners who you are a lickspittle for. Did you miss the window, did you see anything significant in it? Anything to indicate a guy recruiting out of abject desperation because the clueless ****, your hero, left him no options? Did you see his backroom staff pulled away by the manager who found it impossible to work with the clueless ****? Did that help him? Have you logged the injuries, the run of demanding fixtures? It didn't take you long to turn on him, in fact you were within sniffing distance of Chazz's arse, you followed his lead, as you haven't an original thought in your head. Just bullshit is what you offer, bullshit about a situation we all know isn't great, tactics that could, sometimes have been better, but sometimes couldn't. I remember you and Chazz lecturing us all about getting behind Bruce; now you're constantly attacking the manager with the short straw - he really is what we have, like it or not. How many games have you given him and in what curcumstances? This was created by the two clueless clowns who own the club, the abject negativity is created by the two gobshite clowns who supported them - Happy and Chazz, the new Little and Large (only not as funny, just bit players.
That's quite some homoerotic post from you. Bordering on obsession. Containing little of substance. At least you're consistent.
2014/5 Bruce compared to 2016/7 Phelan Leicester - Bruce lost - Phelan win Swansea - Bruce lost - Phelan win Man U - Bruce draw - Phelan lost Burnley - Bruce lost - Phelan draw Arsenal - Bruce lost - Phelan lost Liverpool - Bruce draw - Phelan lost Chelsea - Bruce lost - Phelan lost Bournemouth Bruce - no game - Phelan lost Stoke - Bruce draw - Phelan lost Watford - Bruce no game - Phelan lost so Bruce didn't manage 1 win for the same fixtures whereas Phelan has managed 2 - so there's some substance for you thick **** - plus Brucie had significantly more players and significantly better players to choose from - Ramirez, Jelovic, Sagbo, Brady, Chester, Figeroa, Macca, Rosie, Quinn, N'Doye etc etc etc - of course its not good at the moment, Brucie left the team for a whole season with no back ups for full backs - we still have no back ups and he left a ****ing shambles, we finished a poor fourth in the Championship last season and there's hardly been any investment since - I think we've actually got more points on the board than we could have expected seeing our club's a basket case, we've certainly got more points than Brucie got with a better squad
