Fully expect Sunlan will lose next week, Moyes will get the sack, a new boss will have 2 weeks and they'll beat us.
We have to give some room with both Phelan and the team, the way things have gone have really gone against us. The summer and transfer window was a shambles, thanks to the Allams. First few games we did better than expected, but to then have a run of 4 games against the top sides, which being one after another has knocked the confidence. At Watford I think we saw at least some confidence back, and even though is it going to tough let's hope we can build on this and start to pick up some points. If we can get 4 points in November then that is about what we could expect, anything more than that it will be a plus.
Agree with this. Yesterday may have been a defeat but it was a step (albeit not a massive one) in the right direction. With Mbokani and Snoddy returning things my look brighter and we have to see all of the three games as a chance to take points. Difficult as it is, we have to maintain belief in the team as it is hell of a long way to May if we write the season off now.
Maybe we should pre-empt that by offering BFS a wad of dosh and promise to turn a blind eye to his extra-curricular activities?
I agree, Mbokani up front with Hernandez will be a big plus, I am looking forward to seeing how that partnership develops, as it could be positive one.
We didn't want them to spend any more money, we wanted them to **** off, but sadly they haven't done so.
Hope we win them all however history shows we always always give the team that hasnt won, scored or done squit all else a massive boost by stuffing us! So its one point from nine. Already missing the optimism before a championship game!
If Brucey doesn't poach Abel in the window. I can imagine that, if the Gruesome Twosome are still owners, they might go for the money...
I do wonder if that can work. It will require one of the strikers to be willing to drop in and do defensive work when we don't have the ball - Keane did this really well yesterday, Diomande did it well before then. Are either Hernandez and/or Mbokani up for that hard work?
It's not quite as simple as you leaving Lambretta. Apart from the intricacies of selling a club, there's also the added complication of our stadium, and the council. Oh, why don't you quote some ill-informed and lack of any real detail other clubs sales details who had speedier outcomes? They are ****ing off. They're not going to spend any more money. Quite a few on here and twitter have demanded more money be spent. Which "we" are you referring to? In the meantime we've got the worst PL "manager/coach" ever and a team with no guidance from him but yeah, lets continue to stick the boot in on the people who are going, that you wanted gone rather than focus on the real problem at our club at the moment, which is a clueless manager. He really has fallen on his feet. Job he's in no way suited for. No blame because everything everywhere is the Allams fault.
I think it'll be no points and a cup exit. I can't even amidst all the **** see anything positive. With the exception of Mbokani (on limited match play) the new signings have done nothing at all to improve the side. If anything we look a lot worse now than when we had 13 fit senior players.
