If we'd brought M'Vila in as well the fee would have been less shocking because the overall lack of quality would have been less obvious and N'Dong would have had someone quality to learn from. If we'd hung on to Lens the injury problems would be less obvious and we would have been able to move one of Khazri, Lens or Januzaj inside to provide some creativity in the middle which would again make the N'Dong signing look like sense. But none of those things happened and the summer shopping just looks like a job half done.
