Liverpool's win over the Spuds last night was yet another in a long list. You have to go back to 2012 since they last beat Pool. Since then Pool have tonked the Spuds 5-0, 4-0 and 3-0 and racked up 6 wins and 3 draws. Pool own Spurs.
Although that game against Crystal Palace must have been very painful for all Dippers I'd say they actually look back on it with a strange sort of fondness considering the pain and humiliation them same fans have experienced post Crystanbul and up to and including the present, through their affiliation with LFC. It's been quiet in recent months because I suspect that you Mousers have learned your place in modern-day football - around 7th or 8th. Consequently, the delusions have been somewhat contained. However, I rather suspect that, with 'Pool getting off to several re-assisted good starts and vying for a top 4 slot (for the first time in a few seasons), Mouser delusion is going to go back through the roof. I rather fear that this thread is going to be needed far more than ever.
I do worry about your delusion mate, I suffered with that illness for a few years. Really horrible to see someone else suffer, especially without any self awareness. Painful times ahead, mate. Although there is a way out (not guaranteed for Spurs fans).
Some all too familiar pool biased refereeing in Selhurst Park tonight. 3 stonewall penalties turned down for palace against an alehouse Liverpool display. Ironically, The same referee (Marinner, the die hard kopite) was in charge of the same fixture at the same venue last year where a Benteke dive was of course rewarded with a pen.
