Despite the sickening late own goal, 0 shots on target for Watford suggests we were better. However, we created very little and we seem to have over 20 shots hit against us in nearly every game. Clucas really struggled at wing back, Keane just isn't good enough in my opinion, though I can't argue with his work rate. Henriksen and Mason seem a little restricted in their roles, but what else do you with them? I'm thinking - Marshall Maguire Dawson Davies Elmohamady Mason Clucas Livermore Tymon Henriksen Hernandez Clucas was brilliant in the centre, he needs to be back there. Tymon is a better wing back, Livermore can be alongside him for protection. Henriksen I think could be involved more in a free role.
Thats the team i would pick. But the emphasis has to be on breaking quickly from midfield and supporting the forwards. We just dont attack enough or apply pressure. too many time today we got to the edge of their box and then turned and passed backwards. Agree Keane just not good enough. Weak as piss and cant hold the ball up. Brilliant is stretching it for Clucas. Played well there and rather have him than Henriksen. But again i still dont know if thats Henriksens position.
I'd go for that except Bowen for Henriksen in a front two. What have we got to lose? Give the kid a start; he'll give everything.
That's a decent shout, I'm sure he'd strike up a better partnership with Hernandez than Keane managed. It was noticeable how wide apart they were for the most part compared to Deeney and Ighalo. We haven't really had a decent strike partnership since Longavic. Maybe Maloney could do a job alongside him? He can be anonymous, but he's a much smarter player near goal than everyone else we've got.

It wasn't a dissimilar game to the one at the KC, Southampton probably had more of the ball than we did. Costas goal was nearly a carbon copy of the one he scored against us.
