So Markus put on his very best set of angel wings and made sure that he was looking his very best when he approached the throne of God. He was surprised to see that God was in this season's Saints home shirt which had LeTissier's name on the back.

God slmiled benevolently at St markus and said "When I created the world I put everything nicely in its place and and in a well ordered way exactly as I like things. Unfortunately over the last few years due to the interference of some very dodgy gun runners things have not been to my satisfaction. However today thanks to your very generous help those things that matter to me have been put back into the correct order ordained by me. As far as I am concerned this evening natural order in the universe has been resumed and I wanted to say thank you."

With that God gave St Markus a big hug and said that is a big thank you from me and all the Saints fans you have made so very happy this evening.

St Markus said "But what about all the nasty people in the world such as wife beaters, hooligans, roughnecks and generally really nasty people?"

"Don't worry." said God "You leave those horrid Skates to me I am going to put them in their place. If they are true to form they will go into administration again shortly, as that is what they have done on numerous occasions over the years, only next time I shall make sure they do not survive."

"Just remember that Brighton and Reading are Southampton's rivals now. I have sent my prophet St Godders to inform everyone. You must all listen to his words of wisdom for he is a very wise man."

The Skates are so full of themselves it is unbelievable. So it hurts them like mad when we are dismissive of them hence my comments and I believe them.

Brighton and Reading are a greater threat to us than the skeleton crew that make up the apology of a team that is Portsmouth.

Yes we like to stuff them and there is a lot spite and hatred between the clubs but they do not rival us for anything.

Their owners will stabalise the club then sell them at a profit and they will still be in the Championship.

Portsmouth always go on about their history but as far as I am concerned that is all they are - History

We meanwhile will be flying high and full of ambition.
