    Gaston's goal is the type of goal you score at the end of after-work football on a Friday, when most people are done and ready for the pub and you've still got a bit of energy left.

    It's also the one that convinces everyone else it definitely is time for the pub

    Far be it from me to like something about Liverpool, but I have a theory that a nice bright luminous kit is actually an advantage.

    I would imagine that a player barely has to look up to spot a teammate, wheras a duller kit can get lost against the crowd.
