Well, its not boring SD, I am a bit hopeful about this one. Nice feeling and good game by all accounts.
I hear everyone's frustration Stretchy, me included, in our season so far. But, ever the optimist, I am hoping that with the return of several key players like McG, an in form Sears, the technical ability of a few of our youngsters, a good win and raised morale and confidence we could get some consistency back. We gifted them a quick goal back. Now we must grab the 2nd half by the horns and surge forward....and do not bring Varney on yet!! if we do lose this, and the next 1 or 2...then in my view our season fades away, and MM is shown the door soon enough. Like we're going to score two to win this now, I very much doubt it. Sacked your manager, got a new one, can't buy a win? You better hope you play Ipswich soon.
Following my last remarks, I think this is IT for MM now. Just got back from some shopping, missed their 2nd, and now he must fall on his sword. We do have some skilled and gifted players, but somehow, they have lost the plot.
Latest from Portman road...the fans are revolting...'Mick your football is ****' chants ring out......is this the end?
I think so, Weighty, and I hope so. Desparate position we now find us. And not bloody good for my health!
Thanks Weighty, as we all know, new manager, new life, new energy and players are not just checking their weekly pay cheques! We have been here too often these past few years, yes, its only a game, but we are Suffolk and Ipswich thru and thru, and always tough to shrug it off, and say, well thats our season, then, the pits for us......and its only f....ng October!!
Some very good comments from Mick on Suffolk radio at the end. Players, take your views to the manager, sit down and sort it all out.
