I'd have no problem with having Sam back, I knew he was dodgy before he joined us so the recent scandal didn't bother me particularly. He left for his dream job and it didn't work out, I don't see why he couldn't come back. For whatever reason he was the perfect fit for us.
I'd have him back too. He has to be better than this at the very least and hopefully he can pick up where he left off.
I'm sure he'd get us back on track, I really can't see it happening unfortunately. It'd be too big and bold a move for Short to pull off I think.
When you make the amount of mistakes our lads did today then results like this are guaranteed. Can't lay all this on Moyes given what he has to work with.
The problem isn't that it's all Moyes' fault it's that he's incapable of doing anything about it. He's lost his mojo.
Gut wrenching to watch Sunderland go into free fall like this...Short simply must do something. I'm not for chopped changing managers every two minutes, but this guy is clueless. I actually said the other day on here that Moyes probably would get up straight back up if/when we went down.....I just don;t think so now. The players are not playing for him. I am now of the opinion we need Big Sam back, like Nacho says, he is the perfect fit for us.
This on ****ing toast he is incapable of turning it around and it's folly to give him more time as it's just a waste
