    Lion n Key also have a Micro brewery in their premises.
    Cathead Brewery i believe.

    They had a dark vanilla ale a bit back it was excellent.

    There's always such a massive choice in there, so I'll often sample a few before I dive in

    They've got a vanilla one on at the minute (might be in WM Hawks actually). Had a taste of it and thought it was pretty rank. Tried another from the same brewer and wasn't a fan either so settled on a completely different one. Asked the barman where they brewed such vile concoctions. You can work out how it ends.

    My own local has just brought in a couple of barrels of Black Sheep brewery's 'Holy Grail', my first time quaffing and can safely say that it's one of those very slippery ales that goes past the epiglottis as though it wasn't there at all ...... half a dozen and a couple of Glenmorangies supped in good company makes the world a much nicer place!
