Two departures - Danny Hollands has joined Crewe Alexandra on a free transfer, with a contract until January.

Secondly, young keeper Alex Bass has followed Christian Oxlade-Chamberlain on loan to Salisbury City.

So, on the final transfer day, we sell Adam Barton for an undisclosed fee to Partick Thistle, where he has signed a three year contract. Cookie says it is a good deal for the club.

We have signed young Reading centre half Dominic Hyam on loan until January 2017. He is 20 years of age, 6'2" in height, and a Scotland under 21 international.

The bad news is that Sheff. Utd. striker Marc McNulty has joined Bradford City on loan, and Sheff. Wed. striker Caolan Lavery has joined Sheff. Utd. for an undisclosed fee :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Curse your luck Wooperts you've finally missed out on Rueben Reid. Gone to the mighty Exeter in time for him to be the ex Argyle player on the pitch to score a bleddy goal against us. It usually happens. Anyway you'd never have competed with the Grecians.....

What ??? - I was relying on us signing that overweight striker to boost our chances of success (not) <wah>

Even if he isn't match fit, he is bound to come on as a super sub and score against you, with the ball probably going into the net off of his substantial backside <whistle>

Pompey have agreed a deal to sign non-league hot shot Jamal Lowe.

The Hampton & Richmond striker will complete a move to Fratton Park in January.

Lowe will arrive on an 18-month deal for an undisclosed fee. Pompey have the option of extending that agreement for another year.

The 22-year-old has made a big impact in the National League South this season, scoring 18 goals from 22 appearances.

Lowe, who was attracting interest from Eastleigh, started his career at Barnet where he made 13 first-team appearances.

Let us hope he will be the answer to our goal scoring problems, by converting some of the many chances we create.

Someone, somewhere has been reading my posts for the club to tap into the vast well of untapped talent that goes under the radar given the capitals's huge numbers of players across all levels. This might be just the start if the club have finally got a scout or two observing the non-leagues across the city and beyond.

Pompey have sold loanee winger Ben Tollitt to Tranmere Rovers permanently for an undisclosed fee. He has been getting rave reviews for his excellent performances for Tranmere, and has scored quite a few goals for them as they climb to top of the Conference table.

He is only 22, so I feel we should have kept him at Fratton Park, as a player for the future. I hope we got a decent fee for him, and have included a sell on fee of at least 25%, if they should sell him on themselves at some point in the future.

I have read that Jamal Lowe can also play out wide, so perhaps that is behind Paul Cook's decision.

I wondered where to put this post but as it's a Summer Transfer only our's not your's I guess it's as good a place as any. Wooperts do you remember posting about Sonny Bradley being a sort of one trick pony who had no pace was going to get found out as the season went on for us? I wanted to give you an update on him from an Argyle perspective. He has been probably our player of the season so far and I'm not the only one who thinks so down here. As you know we played Doncaster yesterday who were top having toppled us the week before. Bradley was head and shoulders above and didn't put a foot wrong all day long. Doncaster are a decent side who pass for fun and very well but our defence dealt with it and gave them few chances. Bradley led that which is even better given his usual partner in the middle at the back is missing at present. I think he might have read your post and is determined to prove you wrong. Best signing we made.
