we can't throw EU citizens out now because we are still in the EU
even when we leave the EU most likely we will come to an agreement with the EU regarding people being able to stay
hopefully we will be able to throw out the Remoaners
they can get their EU fix and live happily ever after on a rubbish tip in Romania

I suspect your overworked heart will have given in by the time we finally get out of the EU.

Can we take the advice of Douglas Adams and send an Ark full of hairdressers, telephone sanitizers, accountants and estate agents to colonise another planet?

EU TRADE SHAMBLES: Belgium admits CETA may NOT go ahead despite eurocrats' crowing

But in return for the support of the regional parliament of Wallonia, which had been blocking the deal, they have agreed to refer its most controversial component to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) for a ruling.

It is possible that the Investor Dispute Settlement System (ISDS), which allows US corporations to sue elected governments for policies that affect their profits, will be ruled incompatible with the EU treaties.

It's quite amusing that a middle-aged man scared at the prospect of a Romanian moving in up the road has come up with the insult of someone having a safe room (or sometimes saferoom depending on how many you've had).

    :azn:

If you say so, Kustard. Your Brummie underworld slang is as foreign to me as English is to you. No doubt your diet of Fray Bentos and Carling has turned you into the local strongman.

At least we don't have to suffer his, no doubt very thick, Brummie accent. The back to front, illiterate warblings are bad enough in written text.

He's like Dudley's version of a ******ed Yoda.

It's the usual scenario with the plebs. They don't understand what inflation is, unless it's blowing up a balloon. And as it hasn't affected me yet, it's all scaremongering!...

I have no desire to be proved right.

As being proved right would mean that my business would suffer significantly and thus my income.

I'd also have to cut my costs, which would inevitably mean people losing their jobs.

Everyone is 'cracking on with it' just because we can see what's round the corner if hard brexit becomes a reality doesn't somehow translate to not maximising the current market opportunities. My business hasn't been affected at all so far, but my 2017 financial plans will reflect a decreased market prediction, and my plans are mirrored across the sector I trade in.

British Gvt wins Brexit challenge case in Northern Ireland.

No definitive judgement given as yet.

It'll be interesting to see if the English courts agree. Whichever way, I suspect this will end up in front of the Supreme Court.

BREAKING: Northern Ireland CANNOT veto Brexit, court rules

A COURT today ruled Northern Ireland cannot veto Brexit following a legal challenge against Theresa May's ability to trigger Article 50 alone.

    Beaten to it <laugh>
