Just curious.....TWF When was the last time you were slightly happy about anything regarding Hull City? And you could still have watched the Liverpool in many other different ways couldn't you?
I'm always dead chuffed when we win. If you think I'm gonna come on here and sing the praises of another dour performance then you're way off the mark. Last night I saw no progression on last season. I've just moved into a new flat and I'm waiting on my internet and Sky to be installed... so I'm not sure I could, no.
I agree about Barmby. I was late into the ground and so didn't know who we had on the bench, but I was ****ing livid when Simpson came on with 10 minutes left and I realised what Pearson had done when replacing Adebola. Hobbs is not a complete waste of space you ****ing clown, even if he was **** last night. Cairney did OK. He wasn't brilliant, but he's at least started playing the ball forward once or twice per game, which is nice of him. Maybe Pearson found it hilarious that his team were booed off after a narrow defeat in the OPENING GAME OF THE ****ING SEASON. In summation, Percy: [NSFW] please log in to view this image [/NSFW]
It was. We didn't though did we? We had a fairly decent 20 minute spell at the beginning and then just reverted to our usual mundaneness.
Sorry Percy I appreciate your wind-up/delusion act but you don't understand football and it comes through in a lot of your posts. I think you'd be happier supporting another team.
It's nothing to do with being Real Madrid, it's to do with hoofing the ball up and getting nowhere. If you'd be happy with scoring 21 in 23 at home again this season then so be it, but I can't say I would, and I'm not going to bother pretending I would either.
Fair enough but I don't think you're ever going to see great football at the KC unless it's another team playing it, why don't you be more realistic about the team and situation that we have?
For me the game became fairly even with them pressing in the last 10 minutes of the first half and first 10 of the second. Blackpool came back into it and we seemed to lose our away a bit but with the FDryatt chances we came back into it. We created more chances than we did in hime games last season so that is surely a sign of progress. We had no one with the tenacity of Brady (except Stewart) running down the wing and crossing balls in so that has helped our creative front. Dudgeon looks an assured replacement for Dawson too. We're creating chances byut we just need to put them away. I came back gutted about the defeat, but not with the feeling i'd witnessed a dour performance like we saw against Sheff United, Scunny and Millwall last season.
I think Percy could pick whichever manager he wanted and with our squad and finances the end product would be the same.
Best post I've seen about the game. I was absolutely devestated after the game, but having calmed down a bit I can now see there are positives to be taken from the game.
I think if he went to the matches with realistic expectations rather than this 'fantastic football' he wants (when did we ever see that in Hull, even with Tangoman it was 95percent ****e) then it might improve his state of mind, and maybe then his posts on here would make more sense.
After that defeat at eastlands Brown became very defensive with his tactics and we hardly saw much attacking football from then until his sacking. Brown's tactic were one of the main criticisms i can remember myself and other fans firing at Brown, so it wasn't like we were playing free flowing attractive football under Brownie.
