If that is the case please put in the book that the dad's grandfather was the head man of the Orange Lodge, that would spice things up a bit<ok>

It was Alan Turing who cracked the Enigma code. He was born in Paddington.
He killed himself (although that has been disputed) after receiving a criminal conviction for his homosexuality. Grateful bastards

Ron, that's actually a common misconception. Pretty sure it was the Americans who got one and they smuggled it back to the states in a submarine. There's a film about it.

Anyone with a basic grasp of history knows that if it wasn't for the yanks, we'd all be speaking German.

The decoding of the enigma machine is a prime example of this. Hollywood gives that rancid **** Turing the movie treatment and folk are too thick to realise it's just that: Hollywood fiction.

For the TRUTH, watch the movie U-571 <ok>

Happy to have helped, Ronnie. If you have any other questions, particularly history, then let me or Monny know and we will help out.

Monny's strengths are the civil rights stuff and the colonization of Africa.
