ah ok... thanks for the snippet. This is known but I think we were told that melwood was just never big enough to expand so i feel this is a big deal and very positive news that the club is listening to klopp and investing... and its not a small investment at all.
It seems like common sense to me. Having youngsters within the vicinity of the first team is very motivating.

Its quite simple. while kids of say 17 up got to go to melwood there is a distinct power in guys from say 8 to 12 seeing good pros like firmino etc doing their thing professionally. A whole new world class complex would be a huge deal. I'd hope we still do anfield raod end stand as well though. Hell if klopp only needs 20mil total in transfers cos he's just that good there's going to be a huge wedge of cash on hand within 2 years.
