Sorry to hear that bongo. Times are really hard. Curiously, Australia was one of the few western style democracies not to go into recession. That's why my son is off after graduating.

Their exports are massive though, it's an economy which isn't reliant on overseas influence so much. I'm assuming you know this though :p

cheers Hit's bt its not about money wth my job it's about greed , the centre i work at is on a prime site at the gaeway to Gower. and our council have been after it for a long time so a management team came in to bail us out and spent a lot of money upgrading the property and then decided it was not a viable concern and pulled out forcing the trustees to sell the land to pay the bills the asset strippers left and guess who's buying

I'm an analyst for the old bill. Work in Cardiff unfortunately as they couldn't find anyone with the necessary ability to count past 10 without taking their shoes and socks off :)

At the tender age of 18 I accepted a holiday on 'Her Majesty's Pleasure'. Nearly 40 years later I was set free, so I have retired (the family call it ******ed, 'cos that's more like the way it feels). After having everything 'laid on' for us for all that time, it's hard trying to find out what to do by yourselves. It was great having all the yearly holidays paid for, however, I had no say in where we were sent - not like Fletcher digging ditches!! Seen some great places, met some great people, then also met some Kardiff fans!!!! Ah well there has to be some downers...
If anyone wants to experience the adventure, get down the recruiting office and join up.
Musty, never got to Oz, keep getting stuck in Vegas for some reason...

Left school at 15 to start an apprenticeship with the then Glamorgan old bill. Finished apprenticeship, fully fledged tradesman, spent nearly 40 years in the same job. A few years ago I took early retirement and have not looked back since.

Younger generation trying to tell you what to do, when they have`nt got a clue themselves. Trying to make an impression and climb the greasey pole, not my idea of professionalism, so got out.
