    They have just lost 2-1 to Benfica and a few of their fans are saying their defence was shoddy and only RVP and Gervinho looked good on the pitch. Someone also said RVP picked up an injury (Unconfirmed).

    Surely with our pace in midfield and up front with Best and Ba we have a strong chance of winning. I'm not saying we will but there is hope and I think next saturday could be better than first thought.

    they'll still be strong but we should be able to give em a good match regardless who's in or out.can't wait after listening to the match today then watching tash's vid chomping at the bit ....come onnnnnnnnnnnnn

    Fabregas is defo out for our game, and i heard Walcott is injured? Anyone heard anything about this?

    I think Ben Arfa missing for us is nowt compared to Fabregas and Walcott for them, seeing as it was these two and RVP that raped us in the 4-4.

    Wilshere has had a scan on his ankle but aint heard anything since. Apparently it was really swollen when he came off the pitch in his last game.

    If Van Persie is out I see us having a good result if the lads perform. I think Nasri was out today to.

    I reckon thats what both results will be. I dont know why, and I hope I dont jinx anything, as much as I worry about the derby. I cant see Sunderland beating us.

    I would love to get an early goal against the Mackems and sit back. They are bragging about them beating us just because we have had a **** pre season. Although Sessagnon (Don't know his name) has had a brilliant pre season according to match reports.

    Walcott is out aye injured during pre-season IIRC, as far as the other's go I'm not sure. I think Diaby is also out for the game, Fabregas and RVP no idea.
