This appearance by the Bitch is a waste of time. Everyone can predict what she will say. We admitted that mistakes were made. We tried to talk to Card but they turned down our invitation. We have spoken to EK Addicks, Bromley and Target 20000. We are engaging more with Supporters. The training ground is being redeveloped. We have listened to the fans and have brought a British Manager in. Blah Blah Blah. It is just a phoney PR exercise with questions probably being screened beforehand.

Just listened to the discussion on TS. The above just about sums it up. No mention of what she said in Belfast, no mention of the 2% of fans etc, swerved around the topic of the belgian scout and his distinct lack of football knowledge. Complete sham; she should be ashamed of herself. White did not ask the right questions, she got off very lightly in my opinion.
I listened to the whole interview. Aside from the constant nervous giggling and spouting of platitudes, what was again abundantly clear from Metre's answers is just how woefully utterly under qualified for the job she is. She literally only holds it because Roland fancies her.

they said we had a successful summer. that rolands invested 50m. she gave an account of how player recruitment is now being done and avoided how it was being done. she said all managers had done well bar the year we got relegated. danny murphy said we'd gone too far as fans going to belgium to protest. he cant understand why we're unhappy. JW and DM think that results are the only issue with the fans. they basically fell for all her PR spin and then some. talksport have let everyone know that she would only take the interview if she didnt have to speak to cafc fans; but then said she is open for dialogue. if the regime is still here next year i would think that if 1 person renewed their season ticket it would be too many. you have to be off your chops to carry on believing their sh1t.
I thought Jim White tried hard enough. It would have been much better without Danny Murphy though. He's too much of a know-all,at least White took the trouble to delve a bit, Murphy just kept saying it's all about results, which annoyed me more than KM's woffle, which was more or less what we expected. And saying Slade knows what he's doing, he'll get it right, just the sort of know-all pundit-talk which is a waste of time. Better if it had been just Jim White and KM.
Will try and listen this evening but to be fair... The resurgence of CARD is all down to results. They openly gave a courtesy period to Slade; which implies if we were top of the League CARD would be quiet. Equally Miere offered CARD open dialogue and they point blank refused it (without consultation). CARD is a common theme in the issues being taken seriously and legitimatley it would seem.
She seemed pretty definite that the club was not for sale. Maybe she'd say that anyway but I was convinced she meant it, and that we will have to put up with them for the foreseeable future. Roland is here to stay. So I can only see the support dwindling steadily, especially since Slade appears to be here for longer than any of Roland's other managers. The future of our club looks bleak. Card will continue their protests, but the SMT has learned to live with them.
That it was unacceptable that Talksport and Jim White agreed to conditions before Meire went on the show, and that Charlton fans should ring his show instead. Stan will be behind the mic later today after he has finished beating up his latest girlfriend. #Ulrika
I never listen to Talksport, and after this morning's brief foray I won't be going back. Continuous adverts occasionally interrupted by inane football chat. The perils of allowing faded and inarticulate ex footballers to replace properly trained journalists was there for all to see in the Meire interview. Just as KM was on the ropes over the CARD protesters visiting her family in Belgium - "they knocked on my father's door and gave him a letter [sob ], witless Danny Murphy interrupted with "thats not on" followed by a diatribe that totally ruined the flow of the questioning. Later he claimed that an improvement in results would swing the Charlton fans behind Duchatelet. Idiot.
