I suspect it was a pre-arranged move that Clasie would replace him, unfortunately The Wotsit developed a problem and so the move was deferred, it didn't matter as SB soldiered on regardless and was still giving Sunderland plenty of problems right to the end. McCarthy was also struggling but we had used all of our subs by then.
Nah, he did us a mssive favor. We would have burnt out tonight and tanked the game as he wouldnt have had enough players in the squad. The academy lads probably wouldnt want to play for him and he had no faith so he would have crocked a couple of first teamers. No way we coud have played today without academy players.
Thank God for that. Losing to Milan must be a dream. I realise they don't necessarily mean consecutively, but most people do when you write something like that.
They sold out for an Arsenal Legends charity game in September, @ £20 a pop. You didn't think DTLW had left us for a little club did you?
Saw this comment on the Echo site... gives a fascinating insight into the terrible way our academy products are treated! With things like this going on, it's a wonder any of our youth stay with us! 'Exactly JOB DONE and respect The boss for having the balls to rest a lot of players . Not a great game but never really in doubt of anything other than a win . We know its not always going to work for the boss , but I certainly would like to see if there really is any gems lurking in our team , as we do have a knack of neutering young talent . C O Y R' Gotta love autocorrect!
Nice to see stuff in focus after last night's grotty stream. Boufal's touch is in a different league to anyone else we've had for a while. Love the Saints staff faces as Moyes is sent off. Stony until he's walked past them then, um, not.
Lovely goal. Was that the away fans he was infront of after he scored that?looked like he was pissed off at 1st lol
What are you lot taking about. Saints didn't play last night. I'm listening to the "Today" programme. Fighting at West Ham; United beat Citeh and in other football news these were the Scottish results ... We are all deluded!
Can't wait to see some highlights of Boufal throughout the game. He rinsed Sunderland players again and again. The run in the first half, the nutmeg, the dummy in the second half that sent two Sunderland players back to Sunderland. Very similar to Mane when he first joined.
