Moreno was not great. No more than 6/10.

Lost count of how often his crosses were blocked. A real shame as he was in promising positions a few times.

The lad has pace to burn but I'm at a loss as too what else he brings.

Paced helped him defensively couple times in first half. He wasn't terrible.

Slate him enough but other than the chance at the end where both he and clyne were pushed too high he didn't do anything wrong defensively.

Going forward he was poor, said for a while he was heralded as a great attacking full back but he doesn't really do much going forward. Can't beat a man and can't cross, just has a bit of pace.

He was solid enough, Clyne wasn't great when he came on to be fair, worse of the 3 full backs to make an appearance.

Nobody is a dressing the terribly obvious pen that he tried his damnedest to give away.

For me that one moment encapsulates the whole issue. A defender can play OK for 89mins then do that and is awful. It doesn't matter how many crosses his ****s up if he doesn't give stuff away.

Same for keepers. You have to judge on the errors. Moreno was dead lucky the first pen was given cos the ref bottled the second call without question. It was stonewall.

Because it was never a pen? He won the ball then lamela wrapped his arm round moreno while Moreno put his arm out straight and they both fell over <doh>

His foot bounced off the top of the ball and came down on Lamellas foot, he then twisted his hip into Lamellas groin and put his arm across his chest to stop him chasing the ball you think Moreno won but was miraculously going past him. Clear penalty against any player in any team.
The first penalty was given because Lucaas tried to push his thigh up Lamellas arse twice, the second time lifting him off the floor with his enthusiasm. Take no notice of so called pundits saying "he just caught his ankle" or whatever, watch the incident with clear specs on and see if it would have been a foul against your player.

I reckon klopps idea of game management, is to make them defend, or even better score another on the counter. If you have played 85 mins pressing and harrying to then switch to 10 behind the ball in alien. Klopps game is all about working harder and being braver than the oppo, right up to the final whistle.

It may be heart stopping, but would we have it any other way, its never been boring, being a red

I doubt it will make any difference to the argument, but i thought penalty, straight away. its only when viewed from multiple angles and in slow motion, that i thought it was soft.

Im not a great lover of after the fact decisions, the ref has a split second to make a decision, my gut said pen.

I have said that so many times that the number hasn't been invented yet

Refs get one chance to make a decision on something that happens in a blink most of the time. 40 camera angles in slomo make the job so much easier for us professional fans
