I cant remember Fryatt having a good game for us unless Steve Howard was next to him. I am surprised Nigel didnt try and sign Steve Howard.

Hobbs is a very good defender at this level, I think as defender Hobbs is better then St. Ledger and Bamba but as a footballer SSL, Bamba and Mills they are miles better.

I think Matt Mills is the best defender in the league

It´s more the chance to slag Dull off than have ago at Hobbs. He´s left LC so I really don´t care how he gets on (unless he´s playing v LC) As for Fryatt I wish him well but he´s a nearly striker & we was right to get rid of him because he just is´nt good enough for where we´re going.

Its the Hull fans getting onto Hobbs, i didn't think he played too badly last night, they seem to be being over critical of him making 1 or 2 mistakes.

I just find it funny that they are moaning about the 2 players they got from us, thought they had found bargain players, but found out that they aren't all that.

But lets be honest, its the first game, and everyone will get over critical if they don't win it.

Blackpools goal was a great strike so i think they look at the attackers more then their defence. Had Hull had some decent finishing they would of won. Jay Simpson had the best chance of the match and then Fryatt missed 2 chances he should of scored. Then Nicky Barmby with his slow reactions was too late getting on the end of 2 great crosses

I think over the team we have more goal threats then Hull

Nugent, King and Gallagher all got double figures last season. Danns, Mills, Bamba will all get their fair share. While none of Hull players got double figures last season

And for Blackpool they have lost their best 2 players in Adam and Campbell and havent been able to replace them properly

TBH i was glad when both fyatt and hume left us, it was ok them scoring when we were in the lead but the times we were 0-0 and
just needed that bit extra they were both lacking in quality to win a game, they have found there level and will not be missed by me.

Blackpool were as poor as us for most of the game (in my opinion), but they ended up taking 3 points. What does that tell you about them?

Blackpool defensively looked poor, midfield isn't too bad, strikers are ok.

Think they will be kept the top 6 by how many goals they let in.
