Football-wise, I had never heard of a "Holding Company Vehicle" until Rangers invented one, so aye, it's all about the Rangers when anyone mentions Holding Companies/Engine Room Subsidiaries and the like.

That's because you only concern yourself with Rangers. The team you support on the internet has 3 holding companies all registered at the Theatre of Childscreams.

    1. The Celtic Football Club and Athletic company, which many people will recognise as the name on Celtic's badge, was incorporated in 1994 as Pacific shelf.
    2. Celtic F.C is also incorporated at Torbet Towers and was incorporated in 2001, it's showing a Credit Rating of 15 which indicates a 'maximum' risk for creditors.
    3. Finally we have Celtic PLC which was incorporated in 1897 and had a 100 Credit rating.

Obviously no1 has taken the Original Celtic name but turns overs £100k... but why?
No2 and 3 seem intrinsically linked, both have very similar turnovers but one has a very bad risk and the other not so... but why??

I'm guessing that it's a risk thing where one company will take the fall if any number of negative factors kick in. Perhaps it's a tax efficiency move? Who knows but the Japanese Octopus.

Guess that's the beauty in living in a Capitalist society.

    God Save Her Maj, guise.

Except that he conveniently ignored the fact that none of those companies were ever liquidated. :emoticon-0136-giggl
