Agreed. The BBC would rather put Con Air on than start the footy earlier. I think the BBC are 'conning' footy and fans and licence payers. Still it sounds like it will be worth waiting for! Good to also see another Poole, Dorset user. I was born and bred there and moved away in my early twenties. Enjoy the highlights.

Agreed. I don't know if it is because he used to play for Pompey but it almost pains him to say anything positive about Saints. His commentary on the JPT final highlights was a prime example of this. He needs to get rid of that chip on his shoulder because after todays performance it seems there are and will continue to be, many positives!
Fair play to Claridge he was complimentary saying "often when in League One when there was no Premiership matches on they'd get the highest attendances in the country" and said we can compete in this league.
Don't know what Claridge would do if someone died because he has that undertaker face on him all the time. Okay in what he said though.
Another season, another ****e football league show. Claridge is just cliché man, never says anything interesting. I'd ditch all the chatter and fans comments completely, just a waste of time. They could use that time to show longer highlights. Same old BBC, just like F1, they really don't know when they've got a good product.
I thought Claridge was still a cock. He grudgingly acknowledged that our set up was good and that our attendances were the best outside the PL. He actually said that we could compete financially and made no mention of the performance. Not sure how the guy gets a gig as a pundit.
