Hopefully people will shut the **** up about Phelan now - last season we could only manage 1 1 - so far this season Phelan has managed 4 wins and 1 draw against the same teams that we played in the last 2 seasons - Brucie managed 4 draws and no wins
Not sure I understand that logic. Bruce also got better results against Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Stoke last time we were in the PL.
Sounded much better .. balanced and both front men putting shifts in .. Jak made a couple of decent saves so will be interesting what Phelan decides on Saturday .. I suspect Clucas in for young Tymon with hopefully same 3-5-2 formation .. not too many changes other them Clucas for me.
Never should have been dropped in the first place. Phelan's an idiot for replacing him. Hope he stays in from now on. Just hope we dont get Liverpool or bloody Arsenal in the next round. TWS anyone???

Bruce - Leicester lost - Swansea lost - man u drew - Burnley lost - arsenal lost - Liverpool drew - Stoke lost - Chelsea lost - Stoke drew - Bristol drew --- 4 draws - no Bournemouth to compare Phelan Leicester won - Swansea won - man u lost - Burnley drew - arsenal lost - Liverpool lost - Stoke won - Chelsea lost - Stoke lost - Bristol won - 4 wins 1 draw And Brucie gets a banner saying in Bruce we trust - bearing in mind significantly less investment and significantly fewer players to choose from I would argue we are doing much better now
