Disappointing game but we have learnt a few things about our 2nd string - and highlights theres still a lot of improvement needed

Bit of a boring game in all. The few squad players we have playing have made the difference and the Jansen bloke up front looks proper useless for your style of play.
I have seen nothing to change my mind from my first post. We could be 4 or 5 down as Sturridge has missed 2 easy chances. And we have not looked like scoring tonight. Imho we have thrown away a chance of winning a cupand we do not win enough to justify doing that. Jannsen has looked poor all season with his attempts on goal...his hold up play and lay off have been good but he is a striker and has not looked like scoring all season. 1 penalty in 90 mins v Gillingham is a piss poor return. We have had 2 attempts on target in 70 minutes and that is pretty piss poor too.
We've not been in this, but let's see if that makes them stumble a bit. Not a great penalty, but it's in.
Spurs haven't won a trophy for a decade or so. Is the League Cup not worth winning? Why not play a stronger team? I hope MouRingo (given up trying to change the predictive ?*€%%=/^) plays a strong team tomorrow. F*** all chance of winning anything else. A trophy is a trophy.
