Yep. It's also wrong on the CAFC website under stats and on football 365 stats. Also down as a Hollands assist on the CAFC website (stats bit again). Whoever supplied this info should be sacked, not like it was a goalmouth scramble. Amateurs...
If anyone uses facebook here's a link to watch Waggys wonder goal from todays game... http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/video/video.php?v=10150727438000134&oid=130206000354670&comments If it doesnt work search up Charlton Till I Die on facebook, defo worth watching
You must be well pleased with your point today, Rocky - solid start. Bournemouth were just awful today - why on earth didn't they bring on Mr.Timotei earlier on? He looked like the only one with a clue. I agree, Arter should have gone, particularly after the sarcastic clapping of the referee. I can sympathise with a player wanting to make an strong impression at the club who let him go, but I thought was severely pushing his luck today.
this morning I placed a £20 each way accumulator bet at Hills on Man Utd to win the Premier League 2/1 Leicester to win the Championship 5/1 Charlton to win League One 9/1 Swindon to win League Two 12/1 according to my calculations although I could be wrong, if this all pulls off I stand to win £46,800 though a considerable less amount should any of the 4 mentioned teams not win the league but get a top 3 finish. 45 games to go but a great start for me in Leicester, Charlton and Swindon all winning today
Thanks for putting that up... actually decent quality footage for a mobile... great effort (by the cameraman and Waggy!!)
If the stats man should get fired, the camera man on this should be hired. Great footage. That goal gets better every time I replay it. Can't wait to see it on the football league show later.
They are still at it. This is their current caption for a video interview with CP: Charlton manager Chris Powell tells BBC London 94.9 that he believes the recent changes at the club have created a winning formula after beating Bournemouth 1-0 at The Valley.
I think captain blackaddick sums the game up best for me. I agree that Hayes looks very useful..tidy on the ball and a constant menace to defenders. looks like a good foil for wright phillips who's more of a typical goal scorer.Contrary to what someone else said earlier,i thought Morrison and Taylor did well. Not always easy to pick up the lone striker and Ings movement is very good and he's quick too.Morrison showed a good no nonsense attitude but also seems to have a good touch.Took a ball at waist height and played a lovely deft pass to Wiggins midway through the 1st half..looks confident enough to come out and play the ball on the deck.Looks like a promising centre pairing. That said we looked a little raggedy after the 2nd wonder goal...but got it back together.
Having now slept on the result, I'm still as excited as I was when I crept into bed! All goals were fantastic, first effort a real team goal - good dummy and good finish by arguably the best player on the pitch. Second goal was simply sizzling effort from waggy and bradley done well to win the penalty for the third with quick feet. Elliot done well, wouldnt complain if he kept his place over Sullivan and Hamer. Defence wise bournemouth crept in a couple of times but we always recovered well. Pritchard saved us against a late consolation. Hollands and stephens run the show in the middle of the park, JJ and waggy less noticeable for me but both contributed with goals! Hayes and BWP done well - did think BWP got lazy off the ball towards the end but with the ball always looking forward and dangerous. All this with potentially our best player (in Danny Green) not even playing! However on this showing I feel Stephens will be our player of the year if he carries it on with performances such as the one he put in. ROLL ON TUESDAY!
