in an earlier article it was the same headline, but for &20 million, and a vast majority of you disagreed with the sale at that price, saying he was one for the future, he will be world class etc etc etc. but what if say man city came in with a ridiculous bid like this, although he is one for the future etc etc etc, would you be prepared to see him go. obviously you would, so the point being. every player has his price, its just finding it. &20 million for jordan, come on back to reality, for a 20 year old with potential, surely we would take it, we talk about these figures as if they are nothing. it would take a large section of sol to earn these figures in a year. 20 MILLION for jordan, of course bruce/ quinny are going to take it
If the lad wants to go (which I doubt at least for another year) then I would prefer he want to Man U and we can insist Wellbeck is part of the deal
At the minute i think he is a bit lightweight but he's learning and still has a couple of seasons to go before we see the finished article. Saying that, he's just changed his Agent, he now has the same agent as Bent, could be hedging his bets in case we do accept a silly bid for him?
Don't rate him, never will. ÃÆÃââââ¬à ¡ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã20 million, I'd snap yer hand off!
Would Welbeck want to leave manu tho. Obviously would love him here but SAF will be a major influence.
That is the benefit of having players that the other big clubs want, we don't necessarily need the money(thanks to Mr Short) however it gives us an extra dimension - we can get decent players in part exchange - and if Henderson does move on then we must have a player like Wellbeck's class or potential in return.
