Didn't like the look of that scaffolding supporting 2,300 away fans either.

To call it the 'Brian Moore' stand is an insult to the name of a very good man and yet the half decent new stand is named after the Kentish Messenger <grr> disgrace!

From the 3 seconds of Channel 5 highlights it looked like Fox yet again contributed to them scoring. At least he's consistent.

Well said. I educated my youngest son yesterday on Brian Moore & his links to the Gills. Around 10 years ago I used to bump into him in Locksbottom - a true gent who always had time to say hello.

Just watched the highlights. We won't get such a helpful ref again this season.

Our two were definite penalties, but Gills also had a stone wall penalty waved away when when of their players was tackled in the box.
Worrying about cp*p referees is the least of our problems. I am also amazed [but not surprised] to hear the "Wally Wing" on Charlton Life in full cry today because we have away fans who behave like fans of other clubs.<doh>

Our second penalty may be correct by the letter of the new law about the arm in a natural position, but the old law about ball to arm or arm to ball would have been fairer in this case, and I think the defender was unlucky. I see Slade's growing a beard. Either trying to impress the CEO or preparing for a stint as Santa Claus if he's out of work at Christmas.

Never known our fans to be so apathetic- we were so quiet barring the last 5 mins, even with 2300 of us there
First half was truly dreadful, I feel for Lookman, cos our midfield is so defensive thinking and stale, we are vastly over-reliant on him to create, which when the opposition double/treble up on him means he can't create like he wants to- and so losing the ball in dangerous areas and getting fans on his back.
I actually agreed with the choice of Novak for Magennis, think he had his worst game for us, tried hard like always but nothing went right for him.
Like said before and I say it every week, playing with Jacko is like playing with 10 men, simply bypasses him now
Don't get me started on Fox. Way better than THD tho <doh>

IF Slade is to be believed, we turned down £1.7m for him<laugh>

I think Fox gets a free pass from a lot of our fans because he is "one of our own" [<doh>]

No doubting he is a genuine guy who gives 100%, but equally no doubting his total crapness as a defender.

Douglas Bader moved faster after they pulled him out of the Spitfire.

He doesn't get nearly as much stick as his crapness would justify

Fans around me were actually laughing on Saturday in the 1st half at how bad he was.

Compared to what Francis got when he was with us (now Prem class) Fox gets a very easy ride.

Neither do one or two others. Maybe players have sussed that if they run at him they'll probably run past him quite easily. At the 3 games I've been at wingers are taking him on more than previously. I have to say also that Solly isn't the player he was, well not for 90 minutes anyway<sorry>.

I agree. I think his knee injuries have done for him.

I asked my Gills supporting mate if JET normally plays right wing. He said no Saturday was the first time- unsurprising cos of Fox. JET is also the most one sided player I've seen. Not once did Fox show him on his right side tho. <doh>

I think Chris Solly would have played in the Premier League but for his chronic knee condition.
