This injuries list is a load of bo!!ocks. Kirchoff and Cattermole are constantly injured so it's not as if them coming back will mean they're fit till the end of the season, Borini fair play, not his biggest fan but if he keeps Watmore out then I'm all for his return. The rest of the injured players including Janazaj and Mannone wouldn't be in the first team for me anyway.
We've had a horrendous start to the season, a load of injuries, and no luck. However, despite all this, a couple of wins could still pull us out of the relegation zone. Signs certainly aren't good, but it's far too early to be giving up hope for the season.
Shows the difference of opinion - I think Watmore has come on very well in the last few games - seems to be getting his head up more and finding passes. Saying that the injury list is bollocks though is a little strange - regardless of the fact that they're "always injured" - they are players that would definitely improve our first team so how can it be bollocks? You could argue that Larsson would only be a bencher but Cattermole, Kirchhoff and Borini would all start every week. Januzaj would be a bit parter for me - he's someone who has some talent but little application when the going gets tough - just what you need in a team fighting eh?
Because people are saying it's we're suffering with injuries when they're back we'll be OK, Kirchoff is a class player and Cattermole clearly makes a difference but both disrupt the team too much due to constantly being in and out of the side with injuries.
Agree with the Moyes part but I feel we are due for a change of luck and feel we may get 3pts from our next premier game and continue to struggle at THE bottom till Jan - then another great escape There are some other really poor teams this year. We are not alone But ...we are Sunderland .....KTF No if only for the negativity of the media. Moyes is a dour Scot But he's ours and that's it : Did Moyes have a better record than Mourinho at Man U ?
In ten league and cup games this season, Sunderland have managed just one goal in the first half. Incredible.
In terms of points after 9 games? I think they're supposedly level. The scousers are having a field day with that one, they love a good stat mid season to make themselves feel like they've won something. If I was to compare the two, would Pogba and Zlatan have turned up for Moyes? Absolutely not. It makes no odds to me at this stage, Moyes was an uninspiring pissy sock, and despite yesterday's result Jose has got the fans buzzing again with optimism.
Cheers just me making a point that you have strengthened - I fans need to get behind the manager but Moyes personality does not help. Man U will be in the top 4 come May but where will we be ..?? God knows ...
I'd like to have your optimism for my team, I reckon we'll be outside it again this year. We don't have the depth needed in defense for a long slog. Jose still working out what his best side are, none of the other managers are experimenting anymore. Moyes time here was defined by his poor signings, we can blame Woodward but he's brought some world class players in since then, I honestly believe Moyes was the problem. Maybe he's better suited to you lot, but crisis meetings, 8 weeks into a season... that says a lot.
Like I said when he came here I have many concerns but blind positivity is all I have at moment . Think you'll be in top 6 at least in May. Feel January transfers will define us esp if we lose next 2 games ...though we are enigmatic
