I do not think that the club employ anyone to produce the content, it is done by ADI operators, who control the big screens and the pitch advertising boards. Middlesborough were the first to install it. This season the LED displays were raised to accommodate to stand side display.
Has anyone been to a River vs Boca match? For me it's the ultimate world sporting occasion to attend and, much as I hate the term, it's the very top of my (shudder) Bucket List.
Exactly although we do have fans like that over here - Chazz for instance has a picture of Meyler on his bedroom wall
I'm not saying it's always the case everywhere; there will always be exceptions and contradictions to any theoretical suggestions, but I don't believe it's NOT a factor.
I know two people who have. They both said that other than wondering if you would survive to tell the tale it was the best football experience they have ever had. Both went to games at Boca's stadium but I would think that it would be the same experience at River Plate.
Boca Juniors is all seater. Look st the clip of their fans. The San Siro iscall sester. Naples stadium is.
As I said though, I'm speaking in general terms here. I believe that, generally, all-seater stadia in English football has resulted in less atmosphere.
I agree to a point, but the performance on the pitch has to also be part of this. Even if the team is not playing well then at least show some effort and put a few tackles in to get the crowd going.
We obviously tell the operator what we want on the boards, you don't seriously think the Hull Tigers board isn't down to Ehab?
For ****s sake, just look how many contribute to any thread that wants to show support for the players. Posters desire emotive support and yet do **** all about it. Mention "Fun" and it's "embarrassing". If you want to be like other clubs, do sometime about it, either that or stop ****ing moaning when the club does something. You cannot have it both ****ing ways. If you want an Ultra style match, you need to be organised. ****ing sitting on your arses typing, does not quite light up the stadium. There are City supporters who take banners and who sing and shout at all games and what happens, they get asked to sit down, not by the stewards, but by the miserable ****ers who have paid for a "seat." I sat in the West Stand Upper and you couldn't get up to scratch your arse without a "tut", never mind shouting or singing. Some of you do not get it do you. Its embarrassing that our own fans do not join in chants and that the club needs to do stuff like this to try to engage. Out of all of the posters on here who say that it is an embarrassing, how many of you are actually prepared to do something about it then? Come up with something and I will put it to the club if you want.
The Marketing manager controls the advertising board content. But just like the social media feeds the operators generally have a free hand to put what they want. Ehab does not (as I understand it) get involved. Most of the Hull Tigers stuff is done by the clubs employees not Ehab directly. You don't seriously think that Ehab actually gives this stuff any thought. Do you actually think he says, "I want Hull Tigers displayed," 15 minutes in?
Our most vociferous fans have been driven out by our ****ing clueless owners, the way to generate an atmosphere is to fill the ground, until that's resolved, everything else is just pissing in the wind.
The two teams we have posted videos of meet in basketball. Surely there must have been deaths and people choking indoors? Will we ever see these scenes in an indoor arena (anywhere not just Hull). Though you have to wonder how much better it would be and how much more fun it would be for the kids if they had the words of the songs on electronic displays.
