    Like you said this is a cross the spectrum stock downturn and is no reflection on Sporting Direct as a business. I'm sure Ashley will take it on the chin and keep on with business as usual knowing that the price will go back onto the shares in time meaning he will get his money back.

    It is in his interests to protect his investment with the club and to continue with his financial plan and I fully expect that it will make no difference to his dealings with the club. Just my opinion.
