I'm off to bed. The Walking dead may have gotten pumped today but there's a new series of it on the box tomorrow night. Goodnight and God Bless.

Celtic were created before the Republic of Ireland so why do you fly the Tricolour?

Because Celtic are an Irish club.... Obviously.

The tricolour predates the foundation of the state Aldo.

It was adopted in 1916 during the Easter uprising. Here's the flag you should be waving.

If you know your history that is. :emoticon-0136-giggl

Thanks for recognising the valid actions of the heroes of the Easter Rising.....however, the Tricolour was used for almost a hundred years before that....

If you actually know your history and aren't just being a contrary aul bugger.

No it wasn't. It was very rarely used. Now stop rewriting history to suit your agenda.

Typically Irish shenanigans to be fair.

    Aldo.

The preposition was that the formation of Celtic predates the use of the Tricolour.

    Clearly this is not true.

Don't turn this thread into a house of lies.

We still would have won that game at a canter, playing Doris De Vries. Up front.

Considering Celtic were formed in 1888 and the Tricolour wasn't adopted by the Irish "freedom fighters" until 1916 then i think you will find it is true.

Your Taigy version of horrible histories won't wash in here sonny.

Reading that they bottled another 11yo boy too.

I got the train to the game yesterday and there was a Celtic fan and his circa 10yo son/boyfriend on Cathcart road, obviously lost and not one peep of abuse from the loyal son's of william, yet these SCUMBAG taigs are so obsessed with the fans of a new Club that for the second time in a year, they're lobbing bottles at children.

They are miles ahead of us on and off the park yet they still feel the need to resort to bottling children at football games.

Any club constituted in Scotland, under relevant Scots law and association rules can only be, by definition, Scottish.

May as well close the thread now.

The Final Wisdom has been received.
