You have to learn to respect teams for what they do, not look at price tags. Real life isn't FIFA16 where sticking a big price tag on someones head makes him a better player (sometimes it makes them worse in real life). I think you will find over the course of the premiership your team has under-performed quite badly compared to money spent.

So you think money spent is a factor or not?

Most fans feel we should have done better in the league but In terms of all trophies won finals reached etc in that time I don't think we have under performed that badly in terms of net spend compared to other teams.

 

I was fairly sure anyway. Fans who care often do.

 

Of course it is, just not a major one.
Clubs/managers pay big money for supposedly the best players, unfortunately the best players don't always make even a good team never mind the best. The cost of a squad is irrelevant, your attack didn't cost as much as ours yet looks much more threatening, Leicester's whole squad cost much less than both yet last year looked like a much better team.

Won: 7.

 

Yeah, like Firminho, Couthtino, Lallana and Mane combined fees were less than Pogbad's.

He's a slimey **** and deserved his humiliation yesterday.

 

Seriously? He lost that many Chelsea games?! I knew he lost about 5 at home last season, didn't realise was quite that many in total though.
