Yes, waving a flag like they do at Arsenal and Chelsea is soooo much fun. It will have crowds flocking in.

Flashing the words of a song around the pitch and waving flags to improve atmosphere? That'll do it, like **** it will, it has to be spontaneous and not orchestrated. It's a "fun idea" if you're a 6 year old. And **** you too BTW ..... ****.

Bollocks, how is it an OSC response. It has been on since the season started and even when they ****ed up the Huddlestone one, it is still just a bit of fun.

If they want to improve the atmosphere they should put round the lyrics to ' you said you would go - so why don't you **** off' - now that would certainly get my backing as an improvement

The 'club' ruined whatever atmos there was.

If they want to improve the atmos, here's a thought:

Ehab comes out and apologises for the way he and his father have treated the fans the last few years. He tells us the name change idea was a mistake and from now on, the club's actual name, Hull City, will be everywhere once again.

He'll then say he wants those alienated by the Allams to return as they need us. He'll want us all back together to get behind the team and make some noise! Fans reunited.

Will it happen? Will it ****!

Rather: Oo let's put some lyrics on the boards eh? That'll right the wrongs and create some noise.

    ****tards.

I don't get overly offended by most things these days, life's too short.

I don't get angry about why we don't take as many away as Sunderland. I don't get angry at away games when people want to sit down. I don't lose sleep at the fact our home support is poor.

But I have to say this idea is not good at all.

    In fact it's proper ****.

I didn't say I liked it. Don't put words in my mouth.

My point was that during a time when there's a lot wrong, at least somebody is trying to do something to lift the spirits, even if it's a less than impressive one . I'd be more worried if they weren't.

    I knew about this.

    Kept it quiet.

    Seemed the best way tbh.

Now the Stokies, and SportsJoe have picked it up...already been receiving abuse about it.

The Arse fan engaged to the middle leech did quieten down when I pointed out they have embarrassing ****ing flag wavers, still smirking, but I fear this will be a long week.

Especially when Bristol get their revenge on us.

Who do you think it is aimed at? The kids.

I fully agree that chants have to be spontaneous and not orchestrated, but then again, that is exactly what happens with the big ultra supportered clubs. The difference is that the fans do it. The fans organise, the fans conduct the chants, the fans light up the stadium.

    Drums.... We don't want drums
    Flags.... Nah
    Goal music... For,****s sake no

Posters here have time and time posted how supporters in Europe put us to shame, yet no one ever wants to join in. So we end up with the club trying things for themselves. I sometimes think folk take life to seriously.

And no, it wasn't my idea, nor was it anything to do with the OSC.

Having to read notice boards when the match is on is never a good idea

To make matters worse, the words never match the chant the crowd are currently singing.

Something that does puzzle me about some opinions on here: when the lyrics were on the screen, they were welcomed but now they're on the back of the barrier, they're insulted.

This is just a back handed compliment by the Stoke City fanzine to self congratulate their own supporters and have a cheap dig at us. WTF has a song by Welshman Tom Jones got to do with Stoke ? yet they pump that song out over the tannoy at their ground at every opportunity.

Simple ...Reduce prices for under 21s
in the north stand .. Give free tickets to schools and local youth clubs .

But what did the Allam fools do.

PUT PRICES UP for young fans .

Some fans seem to manage without having lyrics being put up on screens. If they got a roof on to help the acoustics they could sound as good as the KC. Though someone should tell them they have got things wrong. The game hasn't started. Surely the team have to do something before the crowd make any noise and earn the fans support? Hate to think what the SAG would make of all that paper about (or some of our more delicate fans) and fans being stood up that high up and with such steep stands when the thing standing in West Upper could lead to a massacre. Not to mention the away fans being in the top two tiers behind the other goal.Obviously local derbies in Argentina don't have the sort of volatile fans a game like City v Watford or Bournemouth would attract.

What has a song from a musical set in the Pacific to do with Liverpool? Or a song by Andy Williams with us or Sunderland. Or a cowboy song with FC?

At least Stoke have a song that people immediately associate with them.
