I think today our performance is hugely dependant upon Redmond and Tadic. City have gone with a lot of width high up the pitch, which will pin Martina and McQueen back. We have seen in the early season games that when the full backs can't / don't get forwards we struggle, have no width, and become too predictable. If full backs stay back, Tadic and Redmond have ot provide that width. If full backs do get forwards and we lose the ball, Tadic and Redmond may have ot help cover back as City break. If we can get width high up the pitch (be it McQueen/Martina, or Tadic/Redmond), then there WILL be space to attack. Pull their defence wide and Austin will have space to attack. COYS!
A few moans and groans from the City crowd early on. It's the one game of the season where I'd be delighted with a dull 0-0.
