Will West Ham beat Cardiff by two or three goals ?

the championship is in my view the best league in the world for football, there is not one team that can say they will walk the league and are stupid to even think they would. there has to be at least a dozen or so teams that are in with a great chance of winning the championship. It will be much harder than last season and that was tight right up to the last game,......i wish the premiership was the same but sadly money rules there, you can say for certain what teams will challenge or the title but there is no way anyone can say who will challenge for the top two spots in the championship as every team is capable of winning, there is such a fine line between most of the clubs that anything can happen. that is why in my view the championship is better than the premiership and has been for years...

Agree with the two above comments. While the nature of the beast is getting to the top flight, the way the system is set up now it is almost guaranteed that any new club with either come straight back down or just "hang in there" for a few years. Unless some rich owner comes along, and as Birmingham have shown that might not even save you.

 

NOw we both know that you can't "know" your going up this year, thats just what you believe, and there is nothing wrong with that.
I expect you didn't believe you would be relagated last season as well, I see a pattern forming in your thinking if thats true.

There is an arguement that we are better placed over a season than you will be in this league, but only time will tell.

I told him on the other thread to go on the Leeds board and compare who is the biggest club and discuss how they both deserve to be in the Premier League as it's their right. On paper they should get promoted. Unfortunately for them, the game is played on grass not paper.
