It's all a continuance of Bruce really, we need someone who knows how to get us attacking. Bruce could also sometimes be clueless tactically and not get much from the players. We barely scraped promotion last season and without much improvement this is the result. Elmo was crap as last season, Meyler and Huddlestone will be patchy in midfield, it's always the same. Simply needed more players and someone who knows who to get and how to use them.

We're reaping what we've sown - the Allams ****ed Bruce about until he walked, Ehab then ****ed and fannied about getting players in. We could have any manager you all care to mention and it would still be the same, the PL has become all about pressing, I watched Spurs n B'mouth today, a goal-less draw but the skills on view were brilliant, brutal truth, we have no-one who would get into either team other; our players just aren't good enough .......... we're a competent Championship team, no more, no less. As Confucious say ...... you can't polish a ****ing turd.

Just an aside, I believe Shaqiri cost Stoke about the same as we paid for Mason. Just saying like...

I disagree, Stoke were the definition of average today, they just came up against an even worse team.

I'm beginning to think the best thing the Allan's have done in recent years is give Phelan a short-term contract....

Bruce wouldn't have let this team ship 19 goals in 5 games, fact.

Agreed, there were at least 6,000 empty seats in the Upper West and North Stands alone, not to mention the half empty East Stand and the massive gaps in the South. Not a chance there were 18,500 there.

Its pointless comparing results from past seasons given that both our squad and our opposition's squad will have changed since then. Its like saying 'its embarrassing not to beat Bournemouth, even Blackburn managed to beat Bournemouth two years ago.'

I was saying that with Bruce's tactics and this current squad, he would not have conceded 19 goals in 5 games.

If we play like that for the rest of the season Derby will have the second worst record in Premier League history.
Their second goal was one of the daftest ,silliest goals I have ever seen. We have the ball in defence, then prat around and somehow give a free kick away.
Better in the second half when we went 3-5-2 but I really do fear we won't get another five points all season. Heads seemed to have hit boots. As for Phelen playing Keane as a lone striker has to be one of the worst decisions I have ever seen. The lad tries hard, but he'd struggle to get in the current Scunthorpe team.
Some one cheer me up..Someone please tell me it was a bad dream..A £ucking nightmare more like.

That was as bad as I have seen, the players didn't look as if they had played with each other before. The starting line up was wrong, the team had no balance.

Stoke were not a good team, just better than us. They hardly had any attempts on target apart from the 2 they scored from.

I have been banging on about playing 352 for a while now, and finally MP does to 352 at 70 minutes and we looked a lot more threatening, too late to have any affect on the games result.

    It was a bad dream
Sorry it wasn't .......we really were that bad.
Surely we can only show more aptitude in future games. Not convinced by Marshall , we have to play Hernandez and or diamonde. Keane n mason can't stay on their feet. Myler isn't prem quality but very few were today. What's happened to snodgrass form?
    Piss poor.

    Can't blame Marshall..
I hope we kept the receipt for Keane..Mason is far to used to playing for Spurs ressies. He isn't up for the battles ahead and will soon go missing when the heavy weather comes...We're £ucked, unless the club is sold and the new owners ship in five or six fresh larkers...Won't happen...

I can't believe we started with Keane again I think he would struggle in the championship

At least Hernandez had something when he came on wtf is he doing on the bench ?

The way we played first half, with Keane as isolated as some **** with Ebola, I think Lionel Messi would have struggled.

There is word on social media that Clucas got a second yellow in the tunnel after an altercation again with Allen, so could be out for the next game.
