We were more defensive too. WBA presents no danger in attack so we can press forward more to be fair.

henderson has made at least 5 genuine interceptions which has just killed west broms rare forays. have to give credit to him for reading it even if it is just watch for the ball to rondon and step in

totally agree... its highly insulting to utd to compare them to this display. utd only played it for 15/20 mins per half. west brom have been at it from the off. utd had plentyl of possession when they wanted it. escpecially since sturridge didn't bother try to get it back.

Sutrridge's problem is he doesn't believe klopp when he tells him a good rpess and he is only one pass form being in 1 on 1 with keeper. He just doesn't believe it, doesn't do it then wonders why he gets no chances.

Just need to keep possession. Only take chances if they open up.

Probably going to be a boring 45 mins. We're not going to stretch ourselves and WBA relies on catching us out of shape.

Not sure we deserve a free kick there but I'll take it.

unusual from Milner there, he's usually so good with the crosses.

If football doesn't workout for him he could be a backup dancer for a pop singer.

I know we are supposed to be biased and not to see any good in what the mancs did. People say other teams will copy what United did and Bob's your uncle you've got a point. United did what they did well because they had the players to do it and presented a threat if we attacked too openly. Most teams trying to copy them will fail because they simply don't have the players.

WBA are defending but they can't get out of their halves without leaving themselves open to a counterattack.

Trying to fool WBA into false sense of security.

    Good attempt.

The problem with Sturridge is that his ego makes him lazy. He thinks that the team should work for him and not vice-versa. You see it in his England displays too. Great finisher but we need that as a bare minimum these days. <ok>
