That's about right, Keane's working his nads off but he's pissing into the wind - he's totally isolated.
That's how we're set up, 4-5-1 in the hope of keeping it tight and catching teams on the break, the 5 in the middle need to be giving Keane a hand.
We look like an average Championship side which not surprising with the players missing, dropped and sold.
Exactly what I thought. Despite my reservations about starting Keane, he's done ok given the circumstances, but he's so, so isolated. I'm not sure we even had a shot on target that half. Get Hernandez on for christs sake. Oh, and I'm glad Meyler has vindicated my opinion, he's been garbage.
Thought we were now a more attacking team under new management. Are we settling into an inferiority siege mentality... Attack and be damned rather than whimper!
we need to go for it bring hernandez on alongside keane if he takes keane off, it's just going to have the same effect get 2 up there we could play for hours with the current 11 and not score what's the betting theres no ht changes?
But as I said before even with 2 up you need to connect together well to create chances. Though maybe a set piece and hope a goal mouth scramble, if you pack the box it could drop lucky. Or a deflection like Mason's last goal.
