    It's a little frustrating.

I don't think I was expecting a win, but I thought we could win. And really the way that game went we should have won. And we should have won the previous game as well.

We could be sitting in the drivers seat, even play the kids and rest some guys.

I mean, I can't really be too mad or criticize the team much for two decent performances. We are hurt by not enough quality strikers, strikers are expensive, we knew this would be the case this season. Even if we had added another it would have been a high ceiling, rough around the edges type so might not have been of much use yet.

It sticks in the craw a little is all. Yes I know the team has made incredible progress since being in league one. And even this season after yet another offseason of turbulence. I'm happy with things overall. But I mean... I want to win this thing. What is the point of being a fan if you do not care whether your team wins or not? How do you not feel at least a little disappointed at our last two results?

Agree but then confused by questions. Who doesn't care whether the team wins and who isn't disappointed by losing?

I was one of the lucky 7,000 able to attend the game and believe me when I say everyone in that stand was frustrated and disappointed as we waited to leave.
Other than Jose coming out for his warm down, a crowd that had been singing and cheering all day was deathly silent.

Just because your content with the overall position of the club, doesn't mean your ever content with a defeat or even a draw

Got back just after midnight last eve. Still GUTTED. We had a great opportunity to win or at the very least draw but due to IMO an awful strike rate in front of goal & possibly a dodgy ref, we came away with nothing. A win would have positioned us top & with 2x home games the ability to continue with Puel's rotation policy, give the squad some rest & win the group. Yep, all still possible, just more difficult now. It's important we maintain our heads & positivity though. We could easily perform great tomorrow & lose. That could put a stupid amount of pressure on us Wednesday. Great support from the fans. I was in block 204, so far LHS & to look across at nearly 7k red&white was pretty awesome. We done to everyone. #wemarchon.

Ps. I always like reading these post's as generally when I'm down after a bad / poor - performance / result, you guys do a good job to bring about a sense of realism & stability for me. Thanks.

Unusually I nipped across to Saintsweb to read their post match views on the game....wish I hadn't
Unbelievably negative and witch hunting players....I hope no players or club officials read that site otherwise they would simply walk away shaking their heads

Tweet from Sam McQueen's girlfriend. His family must have been so proud. Apart from result, what a great start to his career....first start at the San Siro.

By the look of it....not just his thumbs are up. :)

Good videos. Something a little different there. Also nice to see someone who can get the picture format the correct way round. :)

Think it has to be the best away day ever for me - despite the result. Had a bloody brilliant time. The San Siro is really something special. I would love to see it full up!
Having been to a few of the 'big' European grounds, I think it was the best one I've been to.

I used to have that problem (many years ago) usually brought on by the vibrations of the bus as I went in to town to meet the girls.

Heard the story on 606 tonight about the poor guy suffering a massive heart-attack on his way into the ground and his life being saved by a Saints fan paramedic and two Cardiff based Saints - kudos to all those who acted so swiftly and hope he makes a full recovery. It's stuff like that puts everything into perspective and reminds us all that no matter who you follow thank god for decent people.

Admittedly, my eyes were very pleased watching Pelle last season ;) but yes, I also think we're playing fun football.
